Contributor Update, Michael Hirabayashi

An Update from one of our earlier contributors, Michael Hirabayashi.

For those of you who missed his first post in 2013 here is his Bio.

I’m a military “brat”.  I spent most of my childhood in Japan where my father gave me his old Nikkormat and I discovered photography. I was transplanted to Northern Virginia for the latter half of high school.  College in DC.  Worked in the news gathering field after college.  Transitioned to working film production here in LA. 

 I always have a still camera with me.  I can’t draw, so I shoot pictures.  The camera is like my sketchpad.  I find my pics are random and arbitrary.  Sometimes they’re interesting.
