I found myself in Southern California by way of New York City, the year was1975. I have found this huge place to be a city of boxes everyone stays in the boxes they know but ignore the rest. I make it a point to use the public transportation and a Vespa scooter to "see" Los Angeles…like having your feet on ground zero. Downtown, Chinatown, Pasadena, Long Beach, Echo Park, Silverlake, Venice Beach are some of my hunting grounds.
